‘’Commit to the Lord whatever you do and He will establish your plans.” (Psalms13/16)

Greetings from all at Holy Child School!!

The beginning of a new academic session brings us face to face with the ever-changing, fast paced world of the 21st century. As part of the rapid changes taking place, the role of schools and education has also altered considerably; becoming different both in the educational system and in the society. As we focus our attention on what our students are learning along with the skill sets they are acquiring, it becomes imperative to equip our students with the 21st century skills. The students of the new millennium need the ability to think analytically, which includes proficiency with comparing, contrasting, evaluating, synthesizing, and finally applying the knowledge imbibed. Today, the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing global society.

We at Holy Child provide an atmosphere to our students for multifaceted development, where children are encouraged to channelize their potential in the pursuit of excellence. This can only be possible in a holistic, student-centric environment and therefore the theme for the year is Education for Holistic Development. The talents, skills, and abilities of each student needs to be identified, nurtured, and encouraged so that she is able to reach greater heights. The school is striving hard to make the best possible efforts to inculcate strong values combining with academics and extra-curricular activities in the children, converting every individual into a self-reliant and independent citizen. The school provides an amalgam of the scholastic and the co-scholastic activities. Along with the hours spent in school, children need a supportive environment at home too. They need to set goals, within their reach until they gain confidence and determination. They should re-examine their priorities, set focused goals and make specific plans to achieve what they desire. The parents are the most strengthening force in moulding the future of their children. Their consistent support empowers us to work progressively. I pay my heartfelt gratitude to them for their faith in us. I wish you a wonderful year ahead with an honest prayer that you will continue to inspire your child to develop to her full potential.

Wishing you all the very best!
