Principal's Message

“Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts. There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature- the assurance that dawn comes after night and spring after winter.”

The advent of the new academic session corresponds to the beauty of the spring season and for us at Holy Child the session 2018-19, the art of encouragement is our song of spring.

Dear Parents,

We want to begin by thanking God for the gift of last year where we experienced a lot of blessings, growth and development as an Institution. As Stephen R. Covey has said, "Sow a thought, reap an action; sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny." Therefore, to reap the destiny of each and every student, we at Holy Child believe in making each life count.

Today's education system is designed in such a way that human beings will achieve materialistic success and superficial achievements but lack virtues like kindness, compassion, honesty and integrity. Therefore, we have introduced this year the theme Education for Character Building. I earnestly appeal to the parents to spend quality time with their wards and guide them to differentiate between right and wrong. Effective child development is possible only with concerted efforts of both the parents and family members with whom the child resides.

This academic year we are giving special emphasis on reading habits. Be it digital or print material, various measures are being adopted to improve the reading habits. Therefore, I request you dear parents to spend at least half an hour every day with your ward and promote the reading habits. Kindly go through the school calendar and adhere to rules and regulations. You are also encouraged to regularly check our school website and read about our exciting academic and co- curricular activities. We need your support and collaboration to groom your wards appropriately in a society that is drastically changing.

Wishing you a wonderful year ahead with an honest prayer that you will continue to inspire your child to develop to her full potential.

Wishing you all the very best!
